Chief Osayande Ede, F.C.A., serves as the Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer of Equitorial Trust Bank and Co-operative Development Bank Plc. Chief Ede is a Capital Market Specialist with reputation for organizational restructuring and turn-around.
He is an Economics graduate of University of Benin and a holder of MBA from the University of Lagos. An alumnus of several international training institutions including International Institute for Management Development, Laussanne, Switzerland, American Express Bank, New York.
He has over 30 years cognate experience in Banking and Finance. He serves as Chairman of the Board at LAPO Microfinance Bank Limited. His strengths Include governance, financial analysis, risk management, banking operations, people management, organizational development and regulatory compliance.
Dr Obabori holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Hons) degree in Accounting, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He is an alumnus of several advanced management and leadership programmes from world class institutions including -The School of Business Leadership of the University of South Africa, McGill Executive Institute, Canada; Lagos Business School, Nigeria; Harvard Business School, USA; Business School of the University of California, Berkeley, USA; The University of Westminster, United Kingdom and FedEx Purple Academy, Belgium where he excelled as the Purple Star Award Winner in 2006. Dr Obabori is an Associate Member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (Chartered) and a Fellow of the Institute of Business Development.
Dr Obabori was Chief Executive Officer and Group Managing Director of Red Star Express Plc from April 1, 2016 to April 5, 2022. An astute management professional with long and outstanding sales and marketing career with an accounting and finance background, he traversed different spheres in the industry, making landmark contributions in the areas of Customer Service and Business Development, Logistics, Warehousing and Freight.
Mrs Chinwe Ezenwa Mbah was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987 as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. She did her National Youth Service with Shell Petroleum Nig. Ltd. Thereafter, she practised with some law firms in Lagos including J. N. Nwodo & Co and A. C. Afubera & co. In 1994, She founded the Firm of C. H. Ezenwa Mbah & Co. The Firm in 2008 merged with three other Firms to form JUSTITIA ATTORNEYS.
She is Founder/Executive Director of Lift A Widow Initiative (www.liftawidow.org) — an NGO founded on the need for advocacy and the all-round welfare of women (especially the widows) and the girl child. Chinwe also felt the burden and necessity to assist indigent school leavers with financial aid through university education. This led her to conceptualize what is today known as Idegwu Education Initiative (www.idegwueducation.org).
She holds a degree in Law from University of Jos (LLB), after which she proceeded to Law School, Lagos (BL). Mrs Chinwe Ezenwa Mbah attended many specialist courses in Intellectual Property both at home and abroad. She is a member of so many professional bodies including Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), International Bar Association (IBA), Intellectual Property Practitioners both in Nigeria and the USA.
